Don Herr is a 31-year veteran of the fire service retiring as a Fire Division Chief. Don served as the Chief Arson Investigator, a CA peace officer, in 3 CA fire departments where he was president of the Orange County Arson Investigators and the South Bay Arson Investigators Associations. At each department Don wrote and had approved by legal counsel and the cooperating Police Departments the “Fire / Arson Use Of Force Policy”. Don served in the Army National Guard and the Air Force National Guard from 1969 to 1975. Don also started a Private Investigation business in February 1991.

Texas License To Carry (LTC), Orange Co. Sheriff Dept. CA CCW Training Provider, Arizona CCW Authorized Instructor and Utah CCW Certified Instructor, a National Rifle Association (NRA) Certified Instructor, CA Dept. Of Justice (DOJ) Firearms Safety Certificate Instructor, United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) home defense and firearms Certified Instructor, CA Dept. Fish & Wildlife Hunter Education Certified Instructor.
Our courses cover firearms safety and the knowledge, skills, and attitude to handle a firearm safely.
